Oh, gosh, sorry I didn't reply to this earlier, I had computer problems. I saw Stormwreath's, although I haven't really seen any others. This actually didn't start out as gender swap, and I totally didn't start writing it thinking that it would be - I just thought "demonic pimple" and ran with that. I had trouble coming up with a conclusive ending, so I added the gender swap for a play on words with the "boy demon" thing.

Usually I'm actually kinda squick about gender swap - not like "PPL SHOULDN'T CHANGE GENDERS" but because it generally seems to lead to OOC, which is also one of my big problems with human AUs. For human AUs, you've just taken away all of the experiences of the character - so it's natural that their personality will usually not be the same. That's definitely not always true - the Kitten Board has a lot of great human AUs. Basically I'm okay with gender swap and human AUs as long as they aren't a vehicle for crap characterization, which they tend to be, so it makes me squick about them.

Anyways. I'll try to read your "Aspects" fic - sounds intriguing. And thanks so much for commenting! It sparked thinkage.
