So I made a post about this before, but kinda_gay_award could REALLY use help with judges for its first round.

You don't need any experience to judge, so anyone can leave a comment HERE saying they want to help.

Nominations are from April 20 to May 20, and judging will be from May 21 to July 10.

So I'm slowly but kind of not so much surely going through my fics to judge for the Absence of Light Awards...

kinda_gay_award AKA the Kinda Gay Awards are for BtVS femslash - because we all love the girl-on-girl action. Noms open April 20, it's run by those lovely queens of community-running, snowpuppies and velvetwhip, and it should be great. Mostly because I'm going to be a judge. ^-^

You should definitely all go and vote for Spike in the Final Four of Fandom Steel Cage Match, because if you do, he could be voted best character evar!1!

I'm a judge at the new BtVS angst/dark awards site, Absence of Light. It looks like it will be pretty excellent - so offer help either with judging or banners if you can!

If you can't, please spread the love with nominations - they make you feel better even as they do the same for the nommed authors. All it takes is a few clicks and keystrokes, and you'll have done your part to help keep the fandom alive and recognized!

This is probably pretty redundant, since I assume anyone reading this already knows about the Horrible Awards. But maybe you don't! And you should know about them, because they're wonderful and I'm going to be a judge.

Basically it's (as far as I know, the first) awards for Dr. Horrible videos/fic/art/icons in the biz. And it looks to be pretty sweet, so nom and spread the word! And offer to be a judge if possible.
