...and I come across a fic THAT BLOWS MY MIND AND MAKES ME BELIEVE IN AMERICA DARK FIC AGAIN.

Down There In The Reeperbahn

It's like insanely crazy with the rhymeyness and the many many layers of meaning and the crazy-ass darkness and the Fanged Four. It gets all up in the loads of father-son issues Angel has, and there's an adorable little cross-dressing German prostitute boy, and it's basically one of the craziest things I've ever read.

This is possibly old news for people, since it's from like 2005 and maybe you saw it on the AoL nom list, but it blew my mind so hard that I had to make sure everyone knows about it.

Be warned off if you don't like super-dark 'n pervy fic, and also if you don't like experimental style-y dense-as-hell metaphoric type stuff. But I really think that all you crazy kids out there should take a gander, because like I said: my mind was blown.
