Absence of Light went off very well, and I couldn't be happier with the job Gabrielle, Snowy and Kitty did. Congrats, of course, to the many lovely people who won awards, who I am too lazy to list. I'm probably a fan of most of them.






Here's the comment, because it was really sweet and pretty much made me die:

Lily Lovely absolutely nails the nuts and bolts of the Willow/Kennedy relationship. Her insight into why Willow chose a relationship with Kennedy is so wonderfully done, it's as if she's crawled into Willow's head to take a look. This is one of the most well-done Willow characterizations I've read, and her search for identity and meaning is exactly what I would have wished to see after the series was over. That said, not only is Willow wonderfully IC, but Kennedy is, as well; Lily's Kennedy straddles the balance between Slayer-tough and squishy-girlfriend with almost flawless precision. Beyond that, there are such wonderful details in the fic - it lends a reality and believability to the fic that feels almost like the show. An excellent, engaging read, beginning to end.

Right now I'm pretty much doing the headless-chicken deal, and it's working out pretty well.





I haven't posted in quite awhile, and have kind of been lagging on the fic-writing, but I'll have my grazieprego fic up quite soon. The Dawn/Drusilla I started ages ago should be up next, and a fic for deird1, and the plot_wout_porn sometime in June. I might do some Dollhouse challenges if I am so inspired, but I've just been crazy busy with judging and haven't really been into it lately. I have a vague Topher bunny that might emerge sometime.
